                Kütahya Vocational and Technical Anatolian Highschool  has been founded in 1945, currently has 8 departments  of Information techology, Electric – Electronic technology, Machine Technology , Ceramics and Glass Technology, Furniture and Interior  Design  Chemistry  Technology, Plumbing and Airconditioning Technology.

Additionally, education  has been proceeding in Adults Technical  Education Centre, Dual Vocational Education Centre and Open Education Highscool for the students at the age of 14 and 45. Our school staff consısts of one manager, six asistant managers, 8 heads of departments, 39 heads of workshop and totally 180 people work in our schooll. It is built on 39.000 and 22.000  is indoor area. There are 29 workshops, 43 classrooms, 4 drawing classes, 6 computer laboratories,  one 500 seat sport hall, a dormitory for 100 students and one education museum. 2200 male and female students have vocational education at 8 different departmentsin 2015-2016 academic year. Additionally, 312 students have education at the helm of 150 firm trainers and 80 vocational teachers in 80 factories and firms.

Otherwise, our school has 21 special students. We provide private lessons according to their disability, and we make them to have suitable jobs for them. Our 3 disable students, who cannot go out because of his disability, are given vocational education and they are taught  for university exam by our teachers.

What Are Experience And Activities Of Your Institution About This Application?

Our institution has been familiar to European Union works and projects since 2006. Our school takes part in scientific invention project based skill competitions. About 25 various scientific products are produced and exhibited by our school every year.

We gain success at these woks to improve proffessional competence of  our staff and students. Our administrators and teachers constantly make an effort to renovate  their knowledge. They develop their competence with in -service -  trainings. Besides, there are practical  courses for our students and public in our school.  All departments have enough proficiency and laboratories to teach all these courses.

Our institution takes  part in not only vocational projects but also different social and sportive projects. We also host for these kinds of activities. Our school has championships in Europe in athleticism, wrestling and lifting barbell.

Our projects are aimed at disabled people and environmental consciousness.We  gain social benefits and get famous with these projects.

Those are the projects which we applied or we associated in the last decade:   

The project called modernization of weak current places  was chosen as the scond of Turkey among 2600 projects in project based skill contest.

Our school takes part in the 8^th international  Robot competition in Eskişehir Anadolu University, CPES : in 13- 15 . May 2014.

Our studends won the third place among computer projects with their project  called Gemog in  Secondary School Students Searching Projects Competition by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey in Eskişehir Osmangazi University.                                                                                                                          

Please Give İnformation About Your Project Team Experience  And The Professional Competence:

Our school has had European Union Project unit  since 2006.This unit began to work in our school for the first  time in Turkey Our teachers who work for this unit have attent a lot of seminars of National  Agency and they have improved themselves , so we distributed  duties. Our teachers of English and teachers of  Turkish  Literature especially help us  communicating with foreign people in foreign countries! It is also an adventage to have computer. Technology . Department in our school. The experienced computer teachers constantly work on BIT

We understand the logic of project by taking part in various donation projects and project based skill competitions . Our project team are ready for the donation projects and strategic partnership. Projects of European Union.The experienced staff of our team have bachelor's degree or master degree.They help other Vocational education centers with the technical issues and . European Union Projects.

We applied for the accreditation to National Agency in 2015 but our application was not a Accepted. We are getting ready for our accreditation application for the next call for tender on  of May,2016.
